Hey folks, West Coast Warzone 2 went off to a great start! We opened the doors at the slated time of 8:00pm and casuals were swiftly underway. We saw a lot of great matches and quite a few folks won a lot of drink tickets. The 3v3 SF4 tournament started at 10:00pm with 35 teams battling it out for a grand. Due to time limitations, the final 8 teams will play it out on Saturday at 2:00pm. We do apologize about a lack of stream. The hotel's internet was undergoing some stability issues and we were only getting 0.30Mbps when we need 2Mbps for the stream quality we wanted. We have an engineer coming in tomorrow from what I heard so hopefully, we will have the main draw tournament streamed tomorrow starting at 1:00pm. The stream will be hosted at: http://www.justin.tv/wcwarzone Starting with HD-Remix tomorrow afternoon. GET HYPE! |

Hey folks! Warzone 2 is only two weeks away and I am happy to announce a special Street Fighter 4 3v3 tournament Friday night, April 2nd, during Warzone Lounge Night. Machines will still be on for free play, but some of the Street Fighter 4 stations will be used to host Warzone's first Street Fighter 4 team event! This special event is outside of the main draw tournament and so, registration for the main draw tournament is not required or impacted. Registration for the team tournament is $40US per team with $30 going to the winners pot, to be split 70/20/10 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. Online registration is below and will be open until Thursday, April 1st, 2010. At the door registration will begin at 8:00pm and will be shut at 9:00pm. The tournament will then commence at 9:30pm and will continue until completion. High profile matches will be streamed. The tournament will be double elimination. Pokemon format will be used. OCV time. 2/3 Sets through the tournament. Online registration is now closed.
